About our Members

The WordFam is an online community for writers of all kinds. We are based in Queensland, Australia, but our membership spreads much broader than that, hailing from other parts of Australia and around the world. We welcome writers from all walks of life and backgrounds, including different genders, classes, orientations, family situations, professions, ages, races, religions, abilities, and more.

Our ethos is that we are writers first and interesting people second. Our love of stories is what binds us together. We embrace the differences that make up each of us, and ask only that our members treat each other with consideration, compassion, and respect.
