Our monthly central catch-up!
This month, we're going to the old Myer Centre (now Uptown) in Brisbane CBD. Find us in the lower-level food court at some of the tables.
There may be power points you can use to charge up, but there's no guarantee, so make sure you can operate without it! There may be some noise in the area, so feel free to bring and wear headphones if you wish. We want you to be comfortable.

It's time to get crafty! Bring your art or craft project of choice (writing is good too!), and make some progress with company.
How it Works
This event is entirely online, so you don't need to move your project or equipment anywhere.
We'll start off with a bit of a chat about what we're all working on and our craft of choice. It would be great if you could share a photo of your project with us! Then we'll have some focus time to get some work done.
If you want to join the voice channel, feel free to share a video stream of your crafty progress! Look out for people who have their mics and headphones muted, as they can't hear any chatter, but they might be sharing a view of their work with us or viewing others' streams. In Discord, you can view multiple streams at once.
At the end of the event, it would be lovely to have another photo of your project, so we can have before-and-after views!
*Pictures and videos are entirely voluntary, comfort is key!

Hi Ipswich Word Fam! Due to skyrocketing prices and feeling much less supported as valued cafe patrons since new management took over, we are relocating! We will now be meeting at Wild Rose Cottage in Eastern Heights. It's a lovely small business with good coffee, pretty treats, and light meals.
Join the Ipswich branch of the Word Family for Breakfast, conversation about what we're writing, and OF COURSE, writing time!
