WordFam Retreat 2026 is Open!
It’s that time again! Our space is booked and we’re all set up for this year’s fantastic WordFam Retreat. All we need now is for you to come along!
We are heading over to North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) on 15-16 August 2026 for a weekend of writing time together.
As usual, we have a secluded indoor space to sit together and write, along with access to poolside and beach spaces. There will be areas for quiet writing and writing discussions. And don’t forget the fun loot bag you get just for coming along!
Once again, we’re offering a discount for early bookings. Book your ticket before the end of April to get the early bird price of $80. After 1st May, the ticket price is $95. Tickets are limited, so make sure you get yours before they run out!
As previously, your ticket covers your entry to the Retreat spaces and your goodie bag. Accommodation, travel, and meals are up to you! To help you out:

- Coordinate and collaborate with other attendees on our Discord server. We have a dedicated channel for Retreat chatter. A room share or carpool might help keep costs down for you!
