2026 Autumn Equinox Delta Challenge

Summer has been hot and Christmas rushed into the new year faster than we could blink, so this year we’re giving everyone plenty of notice for our 2026 Autumn Equinox Delta Challenge.
Our Delta Challenge is open to everyone. The only requirement is that every person who submits is required to provide constructive feedback on at least three challenge entries submitted by others.

Techniques and Styles Challenge Requirements:
- POV: First Person
- Tense: Present tense (shifting tense is okay, but remember to be consistent).
Optional Prompts (for an extra challenge):
- Make your story an epistolary narrative.
- Span it over a significant time-line (at least a month).
- Mushrooms
- Storms
Submission requirements:
- Due Date: Feb 28th
- Feedback Due Date: March 21st (Autumn Equinox
- Word limit: 200 – 5,000 words
Format:
- 12 pt Times New Roman
- Double spaced
- At least .5 paragraph indents
- PDF or RTF.
- Create a thread in the #share-writing channel of our Discord server, titled “26 Autumn Delta – [Story Title]” with the tag Delta Submission.
